Dr. John Paul DeGuzman
Dr. John Paul DeGuzman is a board-certified periodontist and implant dentist, dedicated to helping patients keep their natural teeth whenever possible. When replacement is needed, he specializes in restoring teeth, gums, and bone with advanced implant techniques.
A valedictorian graduate of the National University College of Dentistry, Dr. DeGuzman completed his specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he served as Chief Resident and earned a Master’s degree in Dental Science focused on ridge augmentation and implantology.
Known for his warm and patient-centered approach, Dr. DeGuzman treats every patient like family—listening carefully and creating personalized plans for healthy, confident smiles.
Outside the office, he and his wife, Charla, are avid Sacramento Kings fans who enjoy basketball, snowboarding, hiking, and exploring new foods. Their daughter, Florence, is the heart of their family—though their dog, Bijou, begs to differ!
